Greg Harper's 10th annual Storytellers In Song Concert...

Greg's 10th Annual 'Storytellers In Song' concert will be held on Saturday 8th February 2020 at Clapham & Patching Village Hall, West Sussex.

During the first 7 years of holding these concerts we donated £3206 to Alzheimer's Society. Over the last two years we have donated another £1200 to Compassion In World Farming. The total donated as a result of the 'Storytellers' concerts so far is £4406. Thank you all so much for your support over the years.

We would love to take that total over £5000 following the upcoming 10th concert. For that to happen we will need your support again.

Greg says...
"The 'Storytellers in Song’ concerts are one of my favourite evenings of the year. They always have such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. This year the proceeds of the concert will again be donated to Compassion in World Farming. I admire the work that they do to improve the wellbeing of farm animals and the environment in general. After all, the environment is the place where we all live. You could call it by another name…  home. It deserves only our best husbandry."

Joining Greg on stage this year will be Nigel Ratcliffe (keyboard, vocals), Paul Linale (guitar, vocals) and Sarah Stirling (vocals).

There will be a brief introduction from Philip Lymbery CEO of Compassion In World Farming at the start of the evening.

We are delighted to welcome Philip back to 'Storytellers In Song'.

Seating will be at candlelit tables. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be available during the interval. Please note that there is no bar at the premises. However, you may bring any other refreshments that you might like to consume during the evening, with you.

There will be a raffle during the interval. The venue has its own large car park.

A warm, Willows Folk welcome, awaits Greg Harper...

Greg is looking forward to returning to Willows Folk Club in Arundel, West Sussex, on Wednesday 15th January next year.

For this performance he will be joined by Nigel Ratcliffe (keyboard) & Chris Denman (bass) adding their own quality musicianship to enhance Greg's songs.

The Willows holds a special place in Greg's heart, as it was at this West Sussex club (when under the excellent previous management of the Davis family) that he first shared his songs to an unsuspecting audience. A few years ago now though, albeit happy memories.

Yvette and Liz, the current management team, look forward to offering a warm welcome to everyone on 15th January.

Unspoken... a Remembrance song by Greg Harper

Leading up to Remembrance Day, which is always a poignant time of year, we wanted to share with you the lyric from Unspoken, which is a song from Greg's new album In It Together. Unspoken, because for so many, that is how it remained.

We hope that you find the piece moving. You can listen to the song on the audio player to the side of this page too.

Details of the evening are below, and can be found on the Write Angle website too.
